 Chop Productions approached TheAntsNest.com/Web with an existing website that was in desperate need of a complete overhaul!
They had refined the text content they wanted to use and had a general idea of how they wanted to display it (website architecture/flow).
First off was the design of the appearance of the website - this was so successful it sparked off an entirely new look and feel for their marketing material and corporate identity.
The slick, clean, minimal layout of the page content, merged with a background texture of wood, resulted in a simple yet very stylish appearance that suited Chop`s philosophy perfectly!
Without a doubt the most outstanding feature of the new website is the Menu! The designer chose to use Flash to create the main menu with sounds and animation. This small detail succeeded in taking the already beautiful website to the next level!
Chop also wanted to enable their website visitors to watch some (quite large) film clips of commercials and movies they`d made.
It was quite a challenge to optimise the file size of these movie clips so that South Africans (on ridiculously slow internet connections) could view them, without the clips becoming distorted, unclear or staggering.
