 Now that the product has launched and all the secrecy is over, we can (at last) share this story with you.
TheAntsNest.com/Graffiti was approached by The Graphic Ballroom (Ad Agency with the Lenthéric account) to assist them with the design of a "Graffiti clad deodorant can".
The project was handed to Ant#0515 - an internationally recognised Graffiti Artist and local hip-hop culture celebrity.
His initial product design proposals were awesome! Beautiful, highly original, graffiti art, that demanded respect from both designers and graf artists alike!
Unfortunately, (as is often the case in the creative industry) the client had their own ideas... The deodorant can`s artwork went back and forth with numerous changes being made to the design and colours. This resulted in a finished product that the artist preferred not to "tag". Which is a huge shame as an original design (by this particular Graffiti Ant) featuring his signature tag, may well be hunted down as a collectors item!
Nevertheless, both agency and client we`re very happy with the finished result and TheAntsNest.com looks forward to collaborating with them again in the future!
