A Client is a user seeking an ANT or posting a project that has registered for TheAntsNest.com through our client membership registration located at www.theantsnest.com/regsiter.asp?regtype=register.
If you are an ANT, "Personal Information" means information that personally identifies you, including for example, your name, address, email address, etc. If you are a Client, "Personal Information" means information that personally identifies you, including for example, the name of your company, your name, your title, phone number, address, email address, a description of the Brief you are posting including payment range and skills desired and a description of the hiring organization "Web Site" means this website under the domain www.theantsnest.com.

You provide certain Personal Information to us when you (a) register as a VISITOR, ANT or CLIENT with TheAntsNest.com; (b) send email messages, submit forms, (c) submit a brief. We may collect Personal Information from you at other points on our site that state that Personal Information is being collected. In the future, we may also receive certain Personal Information from third parties you have authorized to disclose such information. We do not wish to obtain Personal Information from individuals under the age of 18.
Unless we tell you otherwise, we do not give, sell or rent your Personal Information to any third parties without your approval.
However, we may give, sell or rent aggregated (anonymous) information about our users generally. Your address, phone number and/or email address are not visible to anyone visiting the site. If you are a CLIENT, and post a Brief, your Personal Information (or portions thereof) included in the brief will not be posted on the Noticeboard and will only be forwarded to the ANT/S directly involved in your project and only if it is absolutely necessary. (eg. your details will be needed by the ANT if you request a corporate ID design).
ALL communication between the CLIENTS and ANTS takes place via TheAntsNest.com. This ensures your privacy and enables us to moderate all comunications.
If you expressly indicate that you would like to receive information about products and services from third parties, we may disclose your name and email address to these parties.
By posting a Brief on at TheAntsNest.com, the following information including job description, pitch deadline and final job dealine will be disclosed to and viewable by anyone viewing the Noticeboard that is not a ANT or Client. In addition, in order to provide you with certain features of the TheAntsNest.com that will be provided by our third party partners in the future, we will need to disclose some of your Personal Information to these third party partners.
We use Personal Information, among other things, to anticipate and resolve problems with your service, to personalize your service, to investigate activity that may violate our Terms of Service, to analyze site traffic, and to develop and market products and services that may be of interest to you.
In some instances, we use third party service providers to assist us in these activities; however, we require that these service providers maintain the confidentiality of your information.
If you are a CLIENT and post a brief, you agree that we will place your job listing in a database viewable by ANTS and certain portions viewable by anyone viewing the TheAntsNest.com (as specified above). If you sign up for an email newsletter, we will send the email newsletter to the address you provide us. We will use Personal Information about you to deliver information to you that target your interests. However, unless you tell us otherwise, we will not use Personal Information collected from the TheAntsNest.com to send unsolicited mailings to you.
This policy only addresses our activities from our servers. Other sites (including those third party sites or services which we co-brand) may have their own policies and practices, which we do not control, and thus are not addressed by this policy.
If you provide us with Personal Information during your use of TheAntsNest.com (including your ANT portfolio text information if you are a ANT or a Brief information if you are a Client), we will provide you with a way to review the information we have on file and either change or remove such data from your Portfolio or Brief Posting. If you delete such information, it cannot be used by us or disclosed to third parties in the future. If you wish not to receive email correspondence from TheAntsNest.com, you can simply use the Your Account link to edit your details. There you may simply uncheck the subscribe link. You can use these same link to opt out of receiving newsletters from us that may not be of interest to you at any time.
You can also opt out of having us disclose your Personal Information to our third party partners that provide certain features of the service (in which case you will not be able to access these features). To the extent that such information is also stored in other databases, we cannot always ensure that such corrections or deletions will reach the other databases. If you wish to have information you provided to us online removed from our records, please provide us with all your personal information as you submitted it to us, via post, telephone or e-mail and we will use all reasonable efforts to ensure that your information is removed from our records.
